the male had been born an angel. a spotless angel, free of any sins. his sole reason for living was to worship his god, to ensure that humankind continues to be as immaculate as humans can be. but unfortunately, a happy ending is not what midas had experienced.

the angel fell due to the desire of his flesh, tempted by the devils that had wanted to see an angel fall, and was ultimately thrown into the darkness of the world.

the reason for his existence now has changed drastically. in present time, he yearns to drag countless amount of humans to hell with him; to have them sin, and fall into their temptation.

currently, midas has the ability to detect the sins latching onto other individuals, as if some sort of perfume. the more sinful a person is, the more delectable they smell to his altered biology.

of course, some angels would say that midas had always been innately evil. he had it in him to sin when the temptation presented itself, and that is what the fallen angel believes, alongside others who are aware of the surface reason for his exile.

now, the male does not feel like he belongs anywhere. the angels see him as a perpetrator, the devils hate the cherubic scent that he is still able to exude, and humans know nothing of his struggle. and so, he roams the earth, staying but never settling.
